“Chris and I ran into each other,” Whoopi explains of how she landed the gig. “I said, ‘You know I want to do the show, right?’”

Also debuting on The CW on Sunday is the all-new show “The Game,” about a girlfriend, a wife and a mother of pro football players who form a unique bond.
